Youdha unveils hand-painted EPOD-Bharat limited-edition electric three-wheeler

Youdha has unveiled the limited-edition EPOD-Bharat electric three-wheeler featuring hand-painted Warli-inspired artwork, a 6 kW motor, 11.8 kWh LFP battery and up to 227 km of certified range.

Youdha, an electric commercial mobility platform, has unveiled a limited-edition, hand-painted version of its flagship L5 electric passenger three-wheeler, the EPOD-Bharat. The special edition was showcased at the Bharat Vyapar Mahotsav at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, bringing together traditional Indian craftsmanship and the country’s growing shift towards electric mobility.

The EPOD-Bharat features a vibrant hand-painted exterior inspired by Warli art, with artwork depicting women, rural life, nature and community celebrations. The design aims to celebrate India’s cultural heritage while presenting it on a modern electric mobility platform.

Ayush Lohia, CEO, Youdha, said, “We wanted to bring traditional Indian art onto a modern electric mobility platform, creating a vehicle that represents both our heritage and our aspirations for the future.”

Youdha EPOD: Electric Powertrain and Range

The Youdha EPOD is an L5 electric passenger three-wheeler powered by a 6 kW electric motor producing 50 Nm of torque. It is equipped with an 11.8 kWh lithium-ion LFP battery and offers a certified range of up to 227 km on a single charge.

The electric three-wheeler comes with City and Boost driving modes, allowing drivers to choose between everyday urban efficiency and enhanced performance. It also offers a 300 mm water-wading capacity, making it suitable for varied road and weather conditions across India.

The EPOD is available at a starting price of ₹3.20 lakh, according to Youdha.

Manufactured in Uttarakhand

The Youdha EPOD is manufactured at the company’s production facility in Kashipur, Uttarakhand. The plant has an installed annual production capacity of 1 lakh units and features automated assembly lines, end-of-line testing and quality control systems.

Developed with the requirements of self-employed drivers and mobility entrepreneurs in mind, the EPOD aims to combine electric powertrain technology, practical usability and operating capability for commercial passenger mobility.

With the EPOD-Bharat limited edition, Youdha has added a cultural and artistic dimension to its electric three-wheeler portfolio, highlighting the intersection of Indian craftsmanship and sustainable mobility.
