Ather Energy has introduced the 450X Overtones Series in Nepal, expanding its 450 Series portfolio in the company’s first international market. The new variant features a distinctive tone-on-tone design treatment and is offered in Still White, Space Grey and Lunar Grey.
Alongside the new 450X Overtones, Ather has also introduced Magic Twist, Infinite Cruise and Voice on Ather across its 450 Series in Nepal, adding new convenience and technology features to the electric scooter range.
Ather entered the Nepalese market in November 2023 with the 450 Series and subsequently expanded its portfolio with the Rizta in 2025.
Ravneet Singh Phokela, Chief Business Officer, Ather Energy, said the 450X Overtones Series expands the company’s portfolio in Nepal while giving customers another design option within the 450 range.
Ather 450X Overtones Gets Tone-on-Tone Design
The Ather 450X Overtones features a tone-on-tone exterior treatment across three colour options — Still White, Space Grey and Lunar Grey.
Ather has used different textures and finishes across the scooter to highlight its contours and enhance its visual appeal, while retaining the core design language of the existing 450 Series.
The new edition is aimed at customers looking for a more understated and cohesive visual treatment without moving away from the distinctive styling of the 450 Series.
Ather 450 Series Gains New Technology Features
The 450 Series in Nepal now gets three additional technology features — Magic Twist, Infinite Cruise and Voice on Ather.
Magic Twist enables riders to decelerate by twisting the throttle backwards. The system uses regenerative braking to slow the scooter while simultaneously recovering energy.
Infinite Cruise is designed to help maintain a consistent riding speed with reduced throttle input, offering added convenience during longer rides.
Voice on Ather, powered by AtherStack 7.0, allows riders using a compatible Bluetooth headset or smart helmet to issue voice commands. Supported functions include navigation, locating charging stations and selected scooter settings.
Ather Expands Retail and Charging Network in Nepal
Since entering Nepal, Ather has expanded its presence through 14 Experience Centres and 31 fast-charging points, operated in partnership with national distributor Vaidya Energy Pvt. Ltd.
The company’s international footprint also includes 42 Experience Centres in Sri Lanka, while its India network has grown to 715 Experience Centres.
With the introduction of the 450X Overtones and new technology features across the 450 Series, Ather is expanding its product and ownership proposition in Nepal while continuing to strengthen its international electric two-wheeler presence.
