Citroën India has expanded its product portfolio with the introduction of new variants of the AircrossX and BasaltX, offering customers additional features and multiple powertrain options. The company has also extended the range of the ë-C3X with an enhanced version designed to provide greater flexibility to electric vehicle buyers.
The latest additions are aimed at giving customers a wider choice across different driving preferences, lifestyles, and ownership requirements. With the expanded lineup, Citroën is strengthening its focus on customer-centric mobility solutions while broadening the appeal of its SUV and electric vehicle offerings.
The introduction of the expanded AircrossX and BasaltX range, along with the ë-C3X EXTENDED, comes at the juncture of India’s festive season, a period traditionally associated with new purchases, family celebrations, and new beginnings. Whether it is a family’s first SUV, an upgrade to a more premium and comfortable vehicle, or a transition to electric mobility, Citroën’s expanded portfolio is designed to offer customers greater freedom to choose the best option that fits their everyday lives. With the addition of the new YOU Turbo and MAX NA editions across the AircrossXX and BasaltXX range, together with a more capable ë-C3X, Citroën is making its signature comfort-led mobility experience accessible to an even wider audience.
To make these new models even more accessible, Citroën is facilitating a special step-up finance scheme with a maximum loan tenure up to 7 years, considerably lowering the EMI outflow during the first 4 years compared to a regular loan EMI. EMI for the BasaltX range starts from INR 9,999/- and the AircrossX range starts from INR 10,555/- for the first year of the loan tenure.
The new additions to the AircrossX and BasaltX portfolios have been designed around specific customer needs of enhanced performance, greater family versatility, or a richer comfort experience. The introduction of YOU Turbo variant makes turbocharged performance more accessible, providing customers with stronger drivability and greater confidence during city and highway journeys. At the same time, the new MAX Naturally Aspirated variants allow customers to enjoy Citroën’s top-tier comfort and convenience features while opting for the simplicity and familiarity of a naturally aspirated petrol powertrain.

Complementing the expanded AircrossX and BasaltX line-ups, Citroën has further strengthened its electric mobility offering with an enhanced range of the ë-C3X.
To address range concerns for electric vehicle (EV) buyers, the updated ë-C3X EXTENDED now offers a better driving range of 330 km (MIDC-I/II certified), owing to various improvements aimed at making the vehicle more efficient and using energy more effectively. Coupled with BaaS pricing, the ë-C3X EXTENDED represents one of the most compelling EV offerings in its segment.
The new AircrossX and BasaltX variants, along with the extended-range ë-C3X EXTENDED, will be available across Citroën India’s authorised network from September 7, 2026.
