Michelin has strengthened its retail presence in Hyderabad with the opening of four new Michelin Tyres & Services (MTS) outlets across the city. The new stores are located in Jubilee Hills, Saroornagar, Gandimaisamma and Kompally, expanding the tyre manufacturer’s retail footprint in South India.
The expansion will also improve customer access to Michelin’s recently introduced Made-in-India Primacy 5 passenger vehicle tyres. According to the company, the new outlets have been developed in accordance with its global retail standards and feature dedicated service bays, modern equipment and customer waiting areas.
The Jubilee Hills outlet has been launched in partnership with Wheel O City, a dealer that Michelin says has been serving customers for nearly 17 years.
In Saroornagar, Michelin has partnered with Vigneshwara Wheels, which was established in 2013. The new outlet is aimed at strengthening the company’s presence in the residential parts of the city.
The third outlet is located in Gandimaisamma and has been opened in partnership with Sachin Tyres. Michelin said the dealer brings around 17 years of experience to the partnership.
The fourth outlet in Kompally has been established in partnership with Lambodara Tyres, a dealership that has been operating since 2012.
The four new outlets are strategically spread across Hyderabad, covering established areas such as Jubilee Hills and Saroornagar as well as growing residential and logistics corridors in Gandimaisamma and Kompally.
Michelin said the expansion is aimed at making its range of tyres and related services more accessible to customers across the city while strengthening its presence in an important South Indian market.
The Jubilee Hills and Gandimaisamma outlets were inaugurated by Benjamin Coesnon, Marketing Director B2C, Michelin India, while the Saroornagar and Kompally stores were inaugurated by Kunal Doshi, SP Director, Michelin India.
Michelin India Managing Director Shantanu Deshpande said Hyderabad remains an important market for the company, supported by urban development, infrastructure expansion and growing demand for premium vehicles.
The company said the four new MTS outlets form part of its broader strategy to expand its retail network in India while increasing the availability of its Made-in-India passenger vehicle tyre range, including the Primacy 5.
Michelin added that Hyderabad’s rising premium vehicle ownership and continued urban expansion make the city strategically important to its growth plans. The company plans to continue strengthening its Tyres & Services network through partnerships with local dealers.
