TVS Motor Company has expanded the Ntorq 150 hyper sport scooter into its first international market with its launch in Nepal on September 26, 2026. The scooter is priced at an introductory NPR 3,69,900 and is retailed through Jagdamba Motors, TVS Motor’s sole authorised distributor in the country.
The Nepal-spec Ntorq 150 retains the mechanical package introduced with the India-spec model. It is powered by a 149.7cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder O3CTech engine that produces 13.2 PS at 7,000 rpm and 14.2 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm. TVS claims a 0-60 kmph acceleration time of 6.3 seconds, while the scooter has a top speed of 104 kmph.
The scooter also carries over much of the equipment available on the India-spec version. Safety features include single-channel ABS and traction control, while the feature list includes hazard lamps, follow-me headlamps, telescopic front suspension, adjustable brake levers and TVS’ patented E-Z centre stand. The Ntorq 150 also offers 22 litres of under-seat storage.
TVS has further extended its connected-technology package to the Nepal market, with the scooter offering more than 50 connected functions, including turn-by-turn navigation and switchable ride modes.
For Nepal, the Ntorq 150 is available in three colour options: Stealth Silver, Racing Red and Turbo Blue.
The launch also marks a step up in the Ntorq range’s positioning in Nepal. The Ntorq 125 range previously topped out at around NPR 3,34,900 for the XP variant. With an introductory price of NPR 3,69,900, the Ntorq 150 raises the nameplate’s price ceiling by nearly NPR 35,000 while adding features such as ABS and traction control that were not available on earlier Ntorq generations sold in the market.
The Nepal launch comes around a year after the Ntorq 150 made its India debut. In India, the scooter was introduced at an introductory ex-showroom price of ₹1.19 lakh for the Standard variant and ₹1.29 lakh for the TFT variant. It competes in the 150-160cc performance scooter segment against models such as the Yamaha Aerox 155, Hero Xoom 160 and Aprilia SR 175.
Commenting on the launch, Peyman Kargar, President – International Business, TVS Motor Company, highlighted Nepal’s importance to the company and pointed to the country’s young rider base as a key audience for the Ntorq 150.
With Nepal becoming the first international market for the Ntorq 150, TVS Motor is extending the scooter’s premium positioning beyond India. The company already has an established sales and service presence in Nepal, allowing it to introduce the new model through Jagdamba Motors’ existing dealer network.
The launch is also aligned with TVS Motor’s broader strategy of expanding its premium scooter portfolio across international markets, while leveraging established distribution and after-sales infrastructure to support the introduction of higher-specification products.
