E3 Electric.Ai has commenced production of its E3 TRION electric scooter at its manufacturing facility in Hyderabad, with customer deliveries scheduled to begin in batches from October 7, 2026. The company said the date also marks its second anniversary.
The E3 TRION will be available in three variants — C1, C1X and C2 — designed to cater to young riders, families and business users. The variants will be introduced in phases and will be offered in six colour options: Nova Blue, Teal Blue, Graphite Grey, Misty Green, Solar Red and Luna White.
According to E3 Electric.Ai, the electric scooter has completed an extensive development and validation programme focused on reliability, safety and durability. The programme included more than 550 Design Validation Plan (DVP) tests, accelerated durability evaluations and road trials across different terrains.
E3 TRION Completes 550+ Validation Tests
The E3 TRION underwent more than 550 DVP tests, covering areas such as chassis dynamometer power testing, range evaluation and brake-pressure sensor validation.
The company also conducted accelerated durability testing using a Cam Drum Test Rig with a 205 kg payload to assess the scooter under demanding operating conditions.
Water-resistance testing included water-wading trials at depths between 100 mm and 300 mm at different speeds. The scooter was additionally subjected to heavy-rainstorm and water-wash testing.
As part of its real-world validation, the E3 TRION completed a 260 km mixed-terrain round trip between Bengaluru and Hogenakkal. The route included mountain roads, sharp bends, gradients and rough surfaces, allowing the scooter to be evaluated under varied riding conditions.
E3 Electric.Ai CEO Comments on Production Start
Commenting on the start of production, Sanjeev P., Founder and CEO, E3 Electric.Ai, said the company’s engineering and validation programme was focused on preparing the E3 TRION for real-world customer use.
With production now underway, the electric scooter has moved from the development and testing phase towards customer deliveries. The company said its first 100 customers will form the E3 TRION’s founding-owner community.
First 100 E3 TRION Customers to Receive Extended Warranty
As part of its initial customer programme, the first 100 E3 TRION buyers will receive an 8Y100K+ extended warranty covering the battery and specified key components for eight years or 1 lakh kilometres, whichever comes first.
The first 100 customers will also receive one year of E3 Wingman roadside assistance.
E3 Electric.Ai said the combined value of the warranty and roadside assistance package is ₹6,500 for the C1, which is equipped with a 2.3 kWh battery, and ₹8,500 for the C1X and C2, which feature 3 kWh batteries.

With production now underway in Hyderabad, E3 Electric.Ai is preparing to begin customer deliveries of the E3 TRION while expanding its electric scooter portfolio across different customer segments.
