Porsche has unveiled the limited-edition Porsche 911 Turbo S Sadu Edition to celebrate 70 years of the brand’s presence in the Middle East. Based on the latest 911 Turbo S (992.II generation), the exclusive model will be available only in Kuwait, with production limited to just 20 units.
The first Porsche sports car imported to the Middle East was a Porsche 356 Cabriolet brought to Kuwait by Morad Behbehani in 1956. Seven decades on, Behbehani Motors Company remains the official importer for Porsche in Kuwait.
The edition models feature additional exterior and interior Sadu patterns that pay homage to the region. The 20 vehicles will have the special finishing touches applied by the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur department in Zuffenhausen, adjacent to the 911 production line.
“The Turbo S Sadu Edition combines high performance with exclusive craftsmanship,” said Dr. Manfred Bräunl, Chief Executive Officer of Porsche Middle East and Africa.
“This very special project has been years in the making and the final product is a fitting tribute to the Behbehani family’s 70-year Porsche story.”
Porsche has created the exclusive Porsche 911 Turbo S Sadu Edition as a tribute to Kuwait’s rich Sadu weaving heritage while celebrating 70 years of Porsche in the country. Limited to just 20 units, the special edition blends traditional Kuwaiti craftsmanship with Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur’s bespoke personalization capabilities.
Inspired by Al Sadu, the traditional geometric wool weaving style of the Arabian Peninsula recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2020, the car incorporates Sadu-inspired patterns and colors throughout its design.
The interior features a two-tone Black and Bordeaux Red leather theme with hand-stitched detailing, Sadu-pattern textiles on the seats and door panels, Arabic “70 Years” embossing on the headrests, and bespoke finishes across the steering wheel, key case and owner’s manual wallet. Additional premium features include a Burmester High-End Surround Sound System and Sport Chrono package.
On the exterior, the Turbo S Sadu Edition is finished in Cremewhite with SportDesign accents, custom-painted Sport Classic wheels, special gold ‘Turbo S Sadu Edition’ badging and Sadu-inspired decals across the doors and rear wing. The car also features Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), titanium sports tailpipes and an electric glass sunroof.
According to Alexander Fabig, the edition reflects Porsche’s craftsmanship and appreciation for Kuwait’s long-standing passion for the brand. Buyers can further personalize the vehicle through Porsche’s Sonderwunsch customization program with optional Sadu-pattern fabric finishes for the frunk and glovebox.
Porsche’s history in Kuwait dates back to 1956 when Morad Behbehani imported the country’s first Porsche 356 Cabriolet, establishing Behbehani Motors Company as Porsche’s first dealership in the Middle East.
