Brijesh Gubbi Suresh appointed CEO of Ashok Leyland subsidiary OHM Global Mobility

Suresh joins OHM Global Mobility after serving as a Board Member at Ola from June 2023 to May 2026. Prior to that, he spent nearly seven years at Hyundai Motor India as Associate Vice President – New Business Development & Strategy, where he led several future mobility initiatives.

Brijesh Gubbi Suresh has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of OHM Global Mobility, a subsidiary of Ashok Leyland, effective May 2026, according to an update on his LinkedIn profile.

Suresh joins OHM Global Mobility after serving as a Board Member at Ola from June 2023 to May 2026. Prior to that, he spent nearly seven years at Hyundai Motor India as Associate Vice President – New Business Development & Strategy, where he led several future mobility initiatives.

During his tenure at Hyundai Motor India, Suresh worked on projects spanning EV ecosystem development, hydrogen fuel cell ecosystem planning, connected vehicle technologies, ADAS, subscription and leasing business models, big data analytics and sustainability-focused mobility programs. His experience in emerging mobility technologies and strategic business development is expected to strengthen OHM Global Mobility’s long-term vision in the rapidly evolving electric mobility sector.

Before joining Hyundai, Suresh served as Country Head – Connected Mobility Solutions at Bosch India between 2015 and 2019. In that role, he played a key role in establishing connected vehicle ecosystems aligned with Bosch IoT and cybersecurity principles while driving mobility solutions across non-traditional automotive sectors. He also previously worked at Bosch UK as Marketing Manager – Automotive Service Solutions.

Suresh holds an MBA in International Industrial Management from Hochschule Esslingen – University of Applied Sciences in Germany and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications from Visvesvaraya Technological University.

OHM Global Mobility is focused on eMobility-as-a-Service (eMaaS) and smart sustainable mobility solutions as part of Ashok Leyland’s broader strategy to advance zero-carbon transportation and future mobility initiatives in India.

The appointment comes at a time when India’s electric commercial mobility sector is witnessing rapid transformation, with growing investments in EV ecosystems, connected mobility platforms and sustainable transportation technologies.
