Jaguar Type 00 makes European debut at Paris Fashion Week

The Jaguar Type 00 concept car made its European debut at Paris Fashion Week, turning heads as it transported celebrities to high-profile events. Showcasing a striking French Ultramarine finish, the vehicle underscored Jaguar’s evolving design vision and growing brand presence.

The Jaguar Type 00 made a striking appearance on the streets of Paris for the first time since its launch, turning heads during Paris Fashion Week. The brand’s bold and unmistakable concept car served as the vehicle of choice for a host of A-list celebrities arriving at glamorous events across the city.

Actors Barry Keoghan, Jamie Dornan, and Zoë Saldaña were among the high-profile figures seen arriving at various Paris Fashion Week venues in the Jaguar Type 00. Keoghan made his entrance at The Peninsula, Paris, after the Valentino show, while Dornan was photographed arriving at Hôtel Plaza Athénée ahead of the Loewe presentation.

Saldaña, joined by her husband Marco Perego-Saldaña, stepped out of the sleek concept car before attending an event in a stunning YSL ensemble. The vehicle’s bold design quickly became a talking point on social media, with attendees capturing its striking presence in photos and videos.

The Jaguar Type 00 made a lasting impression at Paris Fashion Week, drawing crowds eager to witness its dazzling arrival moments and capture the striking design in their own videos. Any doubts about the car’s existence were quickly put to rest as it cruised through the streets of Paris, making a bold statement with its presence.

A preview of Jaguar’s future, the Type 00 embodies the brand’s renewed commitment to its original Copy Nothing ethos, first established by founder Sir William Lyons. The concept car made its world premiere at Miami Art Week in December 2024. Its French Ultramarine paint color takes inspiration from the historic Ultramarine blue, a shade long associated with French art and culture since the Renaissance, valued for its rarity, originality, and prestige.

Jaguar’s materiality team prepared Type 00 for its appearance in Paris by collaborating with in-house paint specialists on a new French Ultramarine finish. Using a pigment unique to Jaguar with added metallic content, the colour has a satin-like finish that adorns Type 00’s unique, fearless form.

Paris will also host Jaguar’s new brand store in the Golden Triangle – the heart of the capital’s luxury fashion district in the 8th arrondissement.

Rawdon Glover, Managing Director, Jaguar said, “Jaguar will come to life in a select number of these exclusive brand stores, located where clients live, work, and play. They allow us to build direct client relationships and offer unique and personalised experiences. These stores will embrace their local cultures, with the Paris location highlighting the city’s rich heritage in art and its status as the home of luxury fashion”.
