
Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. (NMIPL) has expanded its presence in Uttar Pradesh with the opening of two new facilities in Gorakhpur: a showroom and a state-of-the-art service workshop. This move is part of Nissan’s strategy to enhance its sales and service network across key markets in India. The showroom covers 11,220 sq.ft. of indoor space and 3,180 sq.ft. of open area, providing an immersive experience for customers to explore Nissan’s vehicle range. The service workshop spans 11,302 sq.ft. indoors and 3,660 sq.ft. of open space.
The new Saket Nissan Showroom was inaugurated by Mr. Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director of Nissan Motor India. Both facilities are equipped with top-tier amenities and staffed by skilled, passionate professionals dedicated to delivering excellent customer service and value.
At the inauguration, Mr. Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director of Nissan Motor India, said, “We’ve observed increasing demand for our cars in Gorakhpur, which has led us to strengthen our presence in Uttar Pradesh. This expansion reflects our broader vision to grow Nissan’s footprint in key markets, making our offerings more accessible to customers. As part of our growth strategy, we aim to extend our dealer network to over 300 touchpoints by FY2025, improving accessibility and customer satisfaction nationwide.”
He also added, “We are on track to execute our mid-term business plans, including the launches of the Nissan X-TRAIL and New Nissan Magnite. We remain fully committed to our operations in India, as well as our dealers, partners, and customers.
With the addition of its latest touchpoints, Nissan’s network in Uttar Pradesh now includes 24 locations, comprising 14 showrooms and 10 service workshops. This expansion supports Nissan’s goal of enhancing customer experiences across India.
As part of its growth strategy, Nissan recently launched the Nissan Academy, a state-of-the-art training center in Chennai, aimed at improving the skills of dealership and service staff nationwide.
Additionally, Nissan introduced the New Nissan Magnite SUV, priced between INR 5.99 Lakhs and INR 11.50 Lakhs. The new model features a tougher exterior, over 20 segment-first features, and 55+ safety features. It is also a key part of Nissan’s ‘Make-in-India, Make-for-the-World’ vision, being exported to 65+ countries, including left-hand-drive markets.
