Škoda Auto India has expanded the Kylaq lineup with the introduction of the new Kylaq Sportline, giving the brand’s best-selling SUV a more dynamic and sport-inspired appearance. The new variant builds on the Kylaq’s strong performance, which has contributed to the brand’s record sales and growth through 2025 and the first half of 2026.
The Kylaq Sportline adds sharper styling, greater customer choice and enhanced value across select variants, strengthening the SUV’s position in Škoda Auto India’s portfolio.
Commenting on the launch, Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Škoda Auto India, said the Kylaq has helped bring European technology closer to Indian customers, while the new Sportline variant adds a stronger emotional appeal to the range.
According to Gupta, the Sportline has been developed around customer preferences for distinctive styling, everyday practicality, strong safety and long-term ownership confidence. Škoda has also introduced updates across other Kylaq variants to further improve value and expand the SUV’s appeal.
A sportier expression of Škoda’s legacy
Škoda Auto’s association with motorsport dates to 1901, shaped by rally achievements and a long-standing passion for performance-led engineering. The Kylaq Sportline channels that spirit into a bold package for customers who want their SUV to stand out. Darker exterior details and a sportier cabin treatment give the Kylaq Sportline a distinct identity while staying true to the brand’s design-led, driver-focused character.
Sportline on the outside
The Kylaq Sportline makes its presence felt with Deep Black ORVMs, Glossy Black front and rear diffusers and LED projector lamps at the front. A Dual Tone Floating Roof in Deep Black, 17-inch Black Alloy wheels and black branding on the tailgate give the SUV a more assertive stance. Subtle finishing touches, including the Sportline badge, rear spoiler with finlets and C-pillar Sportline sticker, complete its distinctive look.

Inside, the Kylaq Sportline continues the dark, performance-inspired theme across the roof, dashboard and door trims. Leatherette seats with Sportline labels on the headrests and contrast stitching add to the sporty ambience, while aluminium pedals, ambient lighting, wireless charging, an electric sunroof, Climatronic Auto AC, a 25.6 cm touch infotainment system and a 20.32 cm Virtual Cockpit bring everyday comfort and modern convenience to the cabin.
Greater customisation. Sharper aesthetics
Customers looking to dial up the Sportline character can choose from a dedicated Sportline Accessories Pack. The pack includes a Front Bumper Corner Garnish, Front Grille Garnish in Dark Chrome, Fender Garnish with Škoda logo and Body Side Moulding in Glossy Black, allowing owners to give their Kylaq an even more personalised road presence.
Enhanced value across the Kylaq range
With the addition of Sportline, the Kylaq range now spans seven variants – Classic, Classic+, Signature, Signature+, Sportline, Prestige and Prestige+. In line with Škoda Auto India’s promise of democratising European technology, every Kylaq continues to offer a comprehensive suite of active and passive safety features, including six airbags. The latest update also brings greater convenience to the lower trims, with Classic and Classic+ now receiving features such as Climatronic Auto AC and Rear Defogger.
Performance spirit, proven on track
Motorsport has been integral to Škoda Auto for more than a century, with Monte Carlo and Sportline variants already forming part of the Kushaq and Slavia line-up. Recently, the brand’s complete India fleet – Kylaq, Kushaq, Slavia, Kodiaq and the limited-volume Octavia RS – set an India and Asia Book of Records for ‘The Fastest Multi-Car Relay of a Single Manufacturer on a Circuit’. All five cars, including driver change-over times, recorded a combined lap time of 12:30.97 at the CoASTT track in Coimbatore. The achievement also powered the brand’s ‘Greatest On A Track is a Škoda On A Track’ campaign, underlining the engineering depth and dynamic confidence that run across Škoda Auto India’s product portfolio.
