Suzuki opens Leh dealership, achieves Pan-India retail presence

The dealership includes a fully equipped service workshop designed to support both local customers and long-distance riders, especially those travelling through Ladakh’s popular high-altitude routes.

Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. has inaugurated its first dealership in Leh, marking its entry into the Union Territory of Ladakh and completing its nationwide retail presence across India.

The new outlet, Mentokling Suzuki, is located in Choglamsar and was officially opened on May 4, 2026, by senior company executives along with the dealership partner. With this addition, Suzuki Motorcycle India’s network now spans all states and union territories, taking its total outlet count to 1,242.

The Leh facility operates as a full-fledged 3S dealership, offering sales, service, and spare parts under one roof. It showcases the brand’s complete two-wheeler portfolio, including popular scooters like Access and Avenis, alongside motorcycles such as the Gixxer range and the V-Strom SX. The lineup also includes the company’s electric offering, the e-ACCESS.

In addition to vehicle sales, the dealership features a fully equipped service workshop with trained technicians, genuine spare parts, and diagnostic tools. The outlet is expected to serve both local customers and touring riders, particularly those travelling through Ladakh on long-distance routes, by providing reliable after-sales support.

The move holds both geographic and strategic importance, as Ladakh has traditionally had limited access to organised automotive retail and service infrastructure. At the same time, the region attracts a large number of motorcycle enthusiasts each year, making it a key destination for touring riders.

Suzuki Motorcycle India highlighted that the new dealership will strengthen its presence in remote regions while enhancing customer accessibility and service reach. The expansion also represents a milestone in the company’s growth journey, which began in India in 2006 and has since evolved into a network of over 1,200 outlets nationwide.
