Toyota Kirloskar Motor strengthens healthcare in Maharashtra

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has strengthened healthcare infrastructure at CHC Bidkin in Maharashtra by supplying essential medical equipment under its CSR programme. The initiative is expected to benefit over 70,000 people across Paithan Block by enhancing maternal healthcare, emergency response, diagnostics and primary healthcare services.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has strengthened healthcare infrastructure at the Community Health Centre (CHC), Bidkin, in Paithan Block, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative focused on health and hygiene.

The company has supplied and installed essential medical equipment at the facility, benefiting over 70,000 people across the Paithan Block. The initiative aims to improve maternal and child healthcare, emergency response services and primary healthcare in the region.

Serving a population of around 3.8 lakh, the Paithan Block has a growing need for enhanced public healthcare infrastructure. Through this initiative, Toyota Kirloskar Motor seeks to improve access to quality healthcare services while strengthening the capabilities of the government-run health centre.

The medical equipment supplied includes Dental X-Ray with RVG, Hematology Instrument, Surgical Instrument Set, MTP Set, Hysterectomy Set, Tubal Ligation (Minilap) Set, Obstetric Labour Table, Shadowless Lamp, Diathermy Machine, Defibrillator, Suction Machine, Multipara Monitor, Wheelchair, Stretcher Trolley, Otoscope (Battery Operated) and Hydraulic OT Table. These equipment’s have been strategically selected to enhance diagnostic capabilities, improve surgical and maternal healthcare services and strengthen emergency response capacity at the facility. Expected outcomes include improved diagnosis and treatment services, enhanced maternal, surgical and emergency healthcare services and improved healthcare accessibility and outcomes for over 70,000 beneficiaries.

The formal handover ceremony was held on 24th July 2026, with Mr. A. Ramesh Rao, Vice President & Mr. Roshan R, General Manager of TKM handing over the equipment to CHC Bidkin authorities through an official handover.
