Ultraviolette Automotive has strengthened its presence in India by entering the Northeast region with the launch of its first UV Space Station in Aizawl, Mizoram. Established in partnership with MSS Motors, the new facility marks Ultraviolette’s debut in Northeast India and will provide a comprehensive range of sales, service, and customer support functions for the company’s electric motorcycle lineup.
Designed as a full-fledged experience centre, the Aizawl outlet will offer customers access to vehicle sales, test rides, aftersales support, accessories, and branded merchandise. The expansion is part of Ultraviolette’s broader strategy to enhance accessibility to its electric mobility products and strengthen its nationwide retail and service network.
The experience centre will showcase Ultraviolette’s performance-focused electric motorcycles, including the F77 and X-47. Equipped with a 10.3 kWh battery pack, the motorcycles offer an IDC-certified range of up to 323 km on a single charge, while delivering 40.2 hp of power and 100 Nm of torque.
Commenting on the expansion, Narayan Subramaniam, CEO and Co-founder of Ultraviolette, said that the Northeast has one of India’s most vibrant motorcycling communities, with a strong passion for riding and adventure touring. He noted that growing customer interest from the region made Aizawl a natural choice for the company’s first experience centre in Northeast India.
The launch follows several recent initiatives by Ultraviolette aimed at accelerating EV adoption, including its ‘Kill the Petrol Bill’ programme, which offers eligible customers benefits of up to ₹30,000 based on their previous vehicle usage, and its partnership with Bolt.Earth to expand charging infrastructure access across the country.
Located at Ramhlun North near Zangena Petrol Pump, the Aizawl UV Space Station will serve as Ultraviolette’s first customer touchpoint in Northeast India, supporting the brand’s efforts to bring high-performance electric mobility solutions to a wider audience.
