zingbus has announced a fivefold increase in bookings for its Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib travel experiences over the past year, reflecting growing demand for curated Himalayan journeys through its experiential travel platform, Chyll by zingbus.
The surge in bookings coincides with the annual blooming season of the Valley of Flowers National Park, when the UNESCO World Heritage Site attracts thousands of visitors with its vibrant alpine meadows, waterfalls and breathtaking Himalayan scenery. The limited seasonal window continues to make the destination one of India’s most sought-after trekking experiences.
Encouraged by the strong response, Chyll by zingbus is expanding its curated travel offerings beyond Uttarakhand with the introduction of journeys to Leh. The new itineraries will operate along the popular Delhi–Manali–Leh route, offering travellers a seamless and carefully planned experience to one of the country’s most iconic mountain destinations.
With the expansion, zingbus aims to cater to the rising demand for organised adventure tourism by combining comfortable intercity travel with curated itineraries, allowing travellers to explore the Himalayas through hassle-free and immersive experiences.
“India has no shortage of extraordinary destinations. The larger challenge is making them simple, reliable and comfortable to reach,” said Prashant Kumar, Co-founder and CEO, zingbus. “The fivefold growth we have witnessed on this corridor indicates that the potential audience for Himalayan travel is significantly larger when the planning and logistical barriers are removed.”
Travel to destinations such as the Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib typically requires visitors to independently coordinate long-distance buses, local vehicles, accommodation, meals and multiple transfers. This complexity can discourage travellers who are interested in visiting the region but may not have the experience or time required to plan the journey.
Through Chyll by zingbus, these elements are brought together under a single itinerary, making remote Himalayan destinations more accessible to travellers beyond experienced trekkers and organised groups.
The Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib experience is a seven-day, six-night journey beginning in Delhi. Travelers take an overnight zingbus to Rishikesh before continuing by road to Govindghat and Ghangaria, the base for both treks.
The itinerary covers the Valley of Flowers National Park, known for its meadows of endemic alpine flowers and mountain landscape, as well as Hemkund Sahib, located at an altitude of approximately 15,200 feet.
Accommodation, meals, local transfers and return travel to Delhi are included, with packages starting at ₹13,499 per traveller.
“Planning the journey independently would have meant coordinating several bookings and transfers across unfamiliar locations. Having the transport, stay and meals organised allowed us to focus on the trek and the overall experience,” said Rohit Tanwar, a Chyll traveller who completed the journey in June.
The expansion into the Delhi–Manali–Leh corridor reflects zingbus’ broader effort to connect intercity road travel with complete destination experiences. Through this model, the company aims to open up high-interest but logistically challenging destinations to a wider segment of Indian travellers.
