JSW MG Motor India has launched the 2026 Hector Storm Series, comprising the Hector Blackstorm and Hector Snowstorm. The limited-edition SUVs are based on the Hector and feature exclusive exterior styling, dark-themed interiors and edition-specific accessories. Both editions are offered in a 5-seater configuration and are powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine paired with a CVT automatic transmission.
The Hector Blackstorm and Snowstorm get a new all-black Storm Hex grille along with front and rear bumper garnishes. The SUVs also feature Aura Storm Blade alloy wheels with red brake calipers, giving them a sportier appearance.
The exterior design is further distinguished by dark chrome accents on the MG logos, skid plates, tailgate and body-side cladding. Other styling elements include piano-black roof rails, LED headlamps with piano-black bezels and smoked connected LED tail lamps.
The Storm Series is aimed at buyers looking for a more distinctive version of the Hector, with the Blackstorm and Snowstorm editions offering different visual themes while retaining the SUV’s core features and powertrain.
Inside, the STORM Series features a premium Nimbus Black Interiors, complemented by dark interior accents that enhance its sophisticated appeal. The all-black leather upholstery, adorned with exclusive BLACKSTORM or SNOWSTORM embossing on the front headrests, along with a leather-wrapped steering wheel finished in gunmetal, further elevates the cabin’s premium character. Customers can also avail for an exclusive STORM Series package comprising BLACKSTORM and SNOWSTORM badges, a red tailgate accent, fog lamp eye shadows with red accents and ORVM protectors with red accents, and side step boards. The customers can get the STORM Series package fitted at the dealership at no extra cost.

Powered by Smart Boost technology, the system delivers faster processing speeds and enhanced responsiveness, ensuring a seamless digital experience. The first-in-segment i-SWIPE touch gesture control further enhances convenience, enabling intuitive two- and three-finger gestures to operate functions such as air conditioning, music and navigation.
The HECTOR STORM editions continue to offer the 35.56 cm (14-inch) HD portrait infotainment screen, largest-in-the-segment. With Smart Boost technology, the system delivers faster processing and improved responsiveness for a smoother digital experience. The HECTOR STORM Series comes with features including a Digital Bluetooth Key with Key Sharing, predictive maintenance alerts, remote AC control, a 17.78 cm digital instrument cluster and MG’s i-SMART connected technology with over 70 connected-car features.
Safety equipment includes a 360-degree HD camera with Wheel View, ABS, EBD, ESP, TCS, Hill Hold Control and Brake Assist. Power comes from the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 143PS and 250Nm.
Other highlights include a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, 35.56 cm (14-inch) HD portrait touchscreen, 8-colour ambient lighting, ADAS, powered tailgate, PM2.5 air purifier, rain-sensing wipers and front parking sensors.
The HECTOR STORM Series is offered with financing of up to 100% of the on-road price for up to 84 months, along with financing support for edition-specific accessories. It also gets MG’s 3+3+3 SHIELD package, covering a three-year unlimited-kilometre warranty, three years of roadside assistance and three labour-free services.
