BMW Motorrad India has launched the all-new BMW F 450 GS in India, marking an exciting addition to its GS lineup.
The motorcycle is now open for bookings across BMW Motorrad India dealerships, with deliveries set to begin in June 2026. Developed in Germany and locally manufactured in India, the F 450 GS is designed to deliver a versatile riding experience across city roads, highways, and off-road trails.
Built around the iconic GS philosophy, the bike combines rugged design, strong performance, and advanced rider technologies to offer confidence and control in all riding conditions.
Commenting on the launch, Hardeep Singh Brar, President and CEO of BMW Group India, said the F 450 GS is aimed at a new generation of adventure riders, tailored to India’s diverse terrain and evolving motorcycling culture. He emphasized the company’s focus on expanding participation in the premium adventure segment and strengthening India’s role as a key growth market.

The BMW F 450 GS features a rugged yet refined design, staying true to the iconic GS styling with highlights like an ‘X’-shaped LED headlight, signature beak design, and sleek proportions. It offers a comfortable ergonomic setup with an 845 mm seat height and a 14-litre fuel tank, suitable for both on-road and off-road riding.
Available in Cosmic Black (Base & Exclusive) and Racing Blue Metallic (GS Trophy), the bike combines style with practicality. It rides on lightweight cast aluminium wheels with tubeless tyres and is equipped with reliable disc brakes for effective stopping power.
Built on a strong yet lightweight tubular steel frame, the motorcycle features upside-down front forks and a rear monoshock with adjustable damping, ensuring stability across varied terrains.
Powering the bike is a newly developed 450cc twin-cylinder engine producing 48 hp and 43 Nm torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. Features like Shift Assistant Pro (clutchless shifting) and Easy Ride Clutch (automatic low-speed control) enhance riding convenience.
The F 450 GS offers four riding modes—Rain, Road, Enduro, and Enduro Pro—along with advanced safety systems such as ABS Pro, Dynamic Brake Control, and Engine Drag Control.
