Electric bicycle company EMotorad, in partnership with Mercedes-Benz India, has announced the launch of the official Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS e-bike range in India.
As the exclusive India partner, EMotorad will introduce three e-bike models from the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Official e-bike range to the Indian market. The company will also exclusively manage the post-sales customer experience for buyers, including servicing and repairs.
The partnership brings together the design and technology associated with the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS brand with EMotorad’s expertise in e-bike development, manufacturing, distribution and customer experience.
As part of the collaboration, EMotorad will manufacture the e-bikes in India and manage the customer experience journey for buyers within the Mercedes-Benz ecosystem. This will include after-sales support, servicing, repairs and other customer-care requirements.
The e-bike range will be sold through select Mercedes-Benz retail outlets across India, allowing customers to experience and purchase the models through the automaker’s established retail network.
The collaboration also marks an expansion of EMotorad’s presence in the premium mobility space, while giving Mercedes-Benz customers access to an officially supported range of branded e-bikes with dedicated local manufacturing and after-sales support.
With EMotorad handling manufacturing and the post-sales experience, the partnership aims to combine Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS design and technology with a locally supported ownership ecosystem for Indian customers.
