JSW MG Motor India has announced that the Hector, India’s first Internet car, is now certified for E20 fuel (20% Ethanol blended petrol). This milestone underscores the company’s commitment to a sustainable automotive future, blending innovation with environmental responsibility. The E20-compatible Hector will be offered in 1.5 L Petrol MT and CVT variants, ensuring compliance with the Government of India’s E20 fuel mandate for vehicles manufactured after April 1, 2025.
With this certification, all petrol variants of the Hector produced after March 31, 2025, will meet the E20 standard. The MG Astor has already been E20 compliant since last year, reinforcing the company’s ongoing dedication to green mobility.
