Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. has launched the XUV 3XO ZNG, marking the company’s entry into the mainstream CNG passenger vehicle segment. The SUV is priced from ₹9.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and combines turbocharged performance with the fuel efficiency and lower running costs associated with CNG.
The Mahindra XUV 3XO ZNG is powered by a turbocharged engine that delivers 82 kW of power and 200 Nm of torque in both CNG and petrol modes. It offers a claimed fuel efficiency of 24.7 km/kg, providing customers with an alternative for balancing performance and everyday running costs.
Beyond its CNG powertrain, the XUV 3XO ZNG retains the SUV’s focus on bold styling, spacious interiors, technology, comfort and safety. The XUV 3XO ZNG makes SUV ownership more accessible, especially for first-time SUV aspirers looking for a powerful, feature-rich upgrade. Even from the entry variant, it comes equipped with premium features such as a 26.03 cm HD touchscreen, cruise control, rear AC vents and a 60:40 split rear seat, ensuring customers enjoy the XUV 3XO’s distinctive character, technology and practicality alongside the everyday economy of CNG, with no compromise on the thrill of driving.

The Mahindra XUV 3XO ZNG features a 1.2-litre mStallion TCMPFi turbocharged engine producing 82 kW of power and 200 Nm of torque in both CNG and petrol modes. It offers a claimed fuel efficiency of 24.7 km/kg and accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 11.8 seconds in CNG mode.
The SUV uses a twin-cylinder CNG system positioned beneath the luggage area, preserving a flat loading floor and 270 litres of usable boot space. Key features include twin 26.03 cm screens, Skyroof™, Dolby Atmos audio, black leatherette seats, a dual-tone roof and R16 painted black alloy wheels.
Safety features include six airbags, Electronic Stability Control, ISOFIX child-seat mounts and gas-leak detection with automatic switching to petrol mode. The model is based on the XUV 3XO, which has received a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating for adult and child occupant protection.
Mahindra says cumulative sales of the XUV 3XO have crossed 2.5 lakh units in under 2.5 years.
Test Drives, Bookings and Deliveries
Test drives will begin on 15 October 2026, while bookings and deliveries are scheduled to commence on 20 October 2026. Customers can book the SUV through authorised dealerships and Mahindra’s official website.
