Lexus India has launched the all-new ES 350h in the country at a starting price of ₹66.10 lakh (ex-showroom). The eighth-generation executive sedan is offered exclusively with a hybrid powertrain and is manufactured locally in India, expanding Lexus’ range of locally produced electrified models.
The new ES 350h is available in two variants: Exquisite, priced at ₹66.10 lakh, and Luxury, priced at ₹71.80 lakh (ex-showroom). The model forms part of Lexus’ multi-pathway approach to electrification and combines a 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with a newly developed hybrid system, electric motor and lithium-ion battery.
The petrol engine produces 139 kW of maximum power and 237 Nm of torque, while the electric motor develops up to 119.1 kW. Lexus claims a fuel efficiency of 25.22 km/l.
New Design and Larger Dimensions
The new ES adopts Lexus’ “Provocative Simplicity” design philosophy and is larger than the outgoing model. It measures 5,145 mm in length, 1,920 mm in width and 1,575 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,950 mm.
The increased dimensions are aimed at creating a more spacious cabin and improving passenger comfort. At the front, the sedan features new Twin L Signature Lamps, while the rear gets a redesigned L Signature Lamp treatment.
The ES 350h also features electronic door-latch releases with Safe Exit Assist, adding an additional layer of safety when passengers are exiting the vehicle.
Inside, the sedan gets Lexus’ Tazuna cockpit concept, a 14-inch high-definition touchscreen with the latest Lexus Interface and a fully digital instrument cluster. The cabin also introduces Responsive Hidden Switches, which integrate physical controls into the interior while maintaining the clean and minimalist dashboard design.
New Hybrid Powertrain
The ES 350h uses a newly developed hybrid system that pairs the 2.5-litre petrol engine with a new eAxle and integrated Power Control Unit. The system is supported by a newly developed lithium-ion battery and is designed to balance performance with efficiency.
Lexus claims a fuel economy figure of 25.22 km/l for the new hybrid sedan, making efficiency one of the key highlights of the ES 350h.
Advanced Safety and Connected Features
The new ES 350h comes equipped with the latest Lexus Safety System+, which includes a Pre-Collision System, All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Tracing Assist, Lane Departure Alert, Automatic Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Monitor and Automatic High Beam.
The sedan also gets eight airbags, ISOFIX mounts and Top Tether child-seat anchors as standard. The Luxury variant additionally features a Drive Monitor.
The ES 350h is also equipped with connected-car technology that allows owners to remotely monitor fuel levels and driving range. Through the Lexus Connected application, users can also remotely control functions such as engine start, door locks, windows and climate settings.
Eight-Year Warranty and Assured Buy Back Programme
Lexus is offering the new ES 350h with an eight-year/2,00,000-km vehicle and hybrid battery warranty, along with five years of roadside assistance.
The company is also offering an Assured Buy Back Programme, which provides a guaranteed future residual value of up to 65 per cent.
With the launch of the new ES 350h, Lexus has added a next-generation, locally manufactured hybrid sedan to its Indian portfolio. The model strengthens the brand’s presence in the premium electrified vehicle segment while continuing its focus on hybrid technology as part of its broader electrification strategy.
