Royal Enfield launches Classic 650 in India, Priced from ₹3.37 Lakh

The Classic 650 features wider tyres, a well-balanced chassis, and a Showa suspension setup at both ends, enhancing stability and ride quality. Powered by a 650cc twin-cylinder engine, it delivers strong low-end torque, making it ideal for both highway cruising and urban commutes. Designed for smooth performance, the engine ensures minimal vibrations, even at higher speeds, for a refined riding experience.

Royal Enfield has expanded its mid-size motorcycle lineup with the launch of the Classic 650 in India. Priced from ₹3,37,000 (ex-showroom, Chennai), the new model is now open for bookings, test rides, and purchases across the country.

The Classic 650 is offered in four distinct colour options: Vallam Red, Bruntingthorpe Blue, Teal, and Black Chrome. The Hotrod variant (Vallam Red and Bruntingthorpe Blue) is priced at ₹3,37,000, while the Classic variant (Teal) costs ₹3,41,000. The Chrome variant (Black Chrome) is available at ₹3,50,000.

Staying true to Royal Enfield’s heritage, the Classic 650 blends timeless design with modern elements. Built on the brand’s globally acclaimed 650cc parallel-twin platform, it offers a refined mix of performance, comfort, and style. Notable features include a dual-seat setup, with an easy-to-remove pillion seat and rack via a single-bolt mechanism. The headlamp and front indicators boast polished aluminum and chrome accents, while the teardrop-shaped fuel tank and nacelle design reinforce the brand’s signature aesthetic. Additionally, a new LED headlamp, accompanied by Royal Enfield’s classic pilot lights, enhances its vintage appeal.

B Govindarajan, Managing Director of Eicher Motors Limited and CEO of Royal Enfield, described the Classic 650 as a blend of the brand’s heritage and modern engineering. He stated that the motorcycle offers a refined and capable riding experience, appealing to those who appreciate the Classic series but seek more power and versatility.

A digital LCD dash unit provides essential information, including an odometer, trip meter, fuel gauge, service reminder, gear position indicator, and clock. Royal Enfield is also offering a range of accessories under Classic and Classic Tourer themes for further customization.
