Škoda Auto India has commenced bookings for the all-new Kodiaq RS, expanding its performance-focused lineup in the country. To mark the launch, the company has introduced the ‘Surrender’ campaign, encouraging enthusiasts to experience the SUV’s blend of power, agility, and driving excitement. The introduction of the Kodiaq RS also celebrates two major milestones for the Czech automaker — more than five decades of the legendary RS performance badge and 125 years of Škoda’s rich motorsport legacy.
Powering the Kodiaq RS is a 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine that delivers 265 PS and 400 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with Škoda’s 7-speed DSG automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system, ensuring strong performance and confident handling across a variety of driving conditions. The high-performance SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.3 seconds and can achieve a top speed of 231 km/h, making it the fastest Škoda model ever introduced in India. Enhancing the driving experience further is the Dynamic Sound Boost system, which provides a sportier and more engaging engine soundtrack.
The Kodiaq RS enhances driver engagement with Progressive Steering, improving agility while reducing steering effort at low speeds. It is also equipped with the latest generation of Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) Plus, offering 15 levels of damping adjustment — from comfort-oriented to sporty. This system works in tandem with Driving Mode Select, allowing drivers to choose from Eco, Comfort, Normal, Sport, Individual, and Snow modes, along with a dedicated Off-Road mode. Each mode intelligently adapts damper settings and vehicle responses to suit varying driving conditions.
The Kodiaq RS features distinctive RS design elements, including blacked-out exterior accents such as the grille frame, ORVMs, window trims, roof rails, and D-pillars, lending it a bold and purposeful stance. Inside, the cabin combines sportiness with luxury through black leather upholstery accented with red stitching. Customers can choose from four striking exterior colors: Moon White, Magic Black, Velvet Red, and Steel Grey.
