This collaboration aims to revolutionize the electric vehicle ecosystem by integrating Okaya’s electric scooters with Battery Smart’s extensive network of over 1,400 battery-swapping stations across more than 35 cities. Riders will be able to swap depleted batteries for fully charged ones in under two minutes, enhancing convenience and accelerating EV adoption.
This partnership is set to address two critical barriers to EV adoption which are range anxiety and charging downtime. With Battery Smart’s widespread battery-swapping infrastructure, Okaya EV users can access fully charged batteries at various locations nationwide, bypassing long charging times and making electric mobility more affordable and accessible.
