Yulu enters Gurugram for last-mile mobility & delivery

Yuma Energy, a joint venture between Yulu and Magna, will deploy its network of AI-powered battery charging and swapping stations in Gurugram to power Yulu’s shared EV fleet in an efficient, safe, and reliable manner. Other aspects of Yulu’s operational setup are ready too, including a large vehicle fleet, approved zones, on-ground staff, and local partnerships.

Yulu launched its mobility-as-a-service (MaaS) offering in Gurugram, Haryana. The Gurugram launch marks Yulu’s entry into its fourth city, even as the company continues to grow its shared fleet — which stands at 25,000+ vehicles today — in Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Delhi.

By combining its proprietary full-stack platform, a strong network of Yuma Energy battery swapping stations, strategic B2B partnerships, and a customer-centric approach, Yulu has created a proven shared mobility ecosystem for people and goods mobility, which it is now bringing to Gurugram.

Commenting on the launch, Mr. Amit Gupta – Co-Founder & CEO, of Yulu said, “We are very excited to bring Yulu to Gurugram and help expand the city’s sustainable mobility footprint. Gurugram is a thriving city with a cosmopolitan mix of residents, a large and mature local service economy and rapidly developing infrastructure, all of which make it a great fit for a sustainable last-mile mobility service like Yulu.”

“We have established strong partnerships with delivery companies in Gurugram and are very happy with the pilots we have run with some of them. We have received active support from city authorities and traffic departments and are working with them to bring our service to more areas of the city soon. We look forward to a long and fulfilling relationship between Yulu and Gurugram based on the shared goal of promoting smart, sustainable, accessible, and affordable urban transport,” Gupta added.
