Scania India, in partnership with its dealer PPS Motors, has inaugurated a state-of-the-art Training Centre in Chandrapur. This significant development reflects Scania’s continued dedication to fostering technical expertise and boosting operational efficiency in India through strategic investments in skill development, featuring advanced simulated and hands-on training modules.
The new facility focuses on specialized training for service engineers, technicians, and drivers. It is equipped with cutting-edge driver training simulators that provide a realistic, immersive learning experience. Trainees gain proficiency in managing advanced control systems, optimizing fuel efficiency, and promoting safer driving practices. The centre also incorporates innovative mining technologies and is supported by two Technical Trainers and one Driver Trainer, further strengthening Scania India’s footprint in the country.
Speaking at the inauguration, Munhoz Silvio, MD, Scania India, said, “With this new training centre, we are taking a significant step toward empowering Indian industry by bridging the gap between advanced technology and operational expertise.
