Triumph launches Tiger Sport 660

British premium motorcycle maker Triumph Motorcycles on Tuesday 29th March, launched the new Tiger Sport 660 in India at INR 8,95,000 (ex-showroom). With this, the company has entered the premium middleweight adventure category. It is equipped with a triple-cylinder engine and generates peak torque of 64Nm at 6,250rpm and peak power of 81PS at 10,250rpm.

Power delivery is managed by a sophisticated engine management system with a ride-bywire throttle for a precise and responsive feel, while the slick 6-speed gearbox has gear ratios optimised for fun and all-round everyday rideability, the company said. The bike comes with riding modes of Road and Rain, offering three colour options of Lucerne Blue and Sapphire Black, Korosi Red and Graphite, and a Graphite and Black option. Riders can choose from over 40 accessories from touring luggage and styling, to capability and security.

The bike has a 16,000 km or 12 months service interval, the company said.
