Oben Electric’s newly launched electric motorcycle, the Rorr Evo, has received more than 25,000 bookings within just 15 days of its launch, reflecting growing consumer interest in India’s electric motorcycle market.
The Bengaluru-based EV manufacturer said it is well-positioned to support deliveries and aftersales operations through its expanding network of over 150 showrooms and service centres spread across more than 100 cities in 18+ states. The company also plans to strengthen its footprint further by adding 200 new exclusive showrooms by the end of FY27.
“With India actively accelerating its transition towards electric mobility, the response to the Rorr Evo shows that the shift is now extending meaningfully into the electric motorcycle category as well,” said Madhumita Agrawal, Founder and CEO of Oben Electric.
The Oben Rorr Evo is currently available at an introductory price of ₹99,999 for the first 10,000 customers, following which the price will increase to ₹1,24,999. Oben Electric has already opened the payment portal on its official website, while deliveries are scheduled to begin in June 2026.
The company noted that its vertically integrated manufacturing facility, where critical EV components such as LFP batteries, motors, vehicle control units, chargers, and proprietary software are developed in-house, will support its future scale-up plans. Oben Electric currently has an annual production capacity of 1 lakh motorcycles.
Powering the Rorr Evo is a 9 kW IPMSM motor paired with a 3.4 kWh LFP battery pack. The electric motorcycle offers an IDC-certified range of 180 km, a top speed of 110 km/h, and can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in just 3 seconds.
The company said the motorcycle supports fast charging, enabling 0–80% charging in 90 minutes, and comes with an 8-year battery warranty.
In terms of technology and connectivity, the Rorr Evo features a five-inch colour TFT display along with OTA updates, turn-by-turn navigation, geofencing, remote immobilisation, and fall detection with emergency SOS functionality through Oben’s connected technology platform.
