River Mobility has reached a significant manufacturing milestone with the rollout of the 50,000th unit of its Indie electric scooter. The achievement comes in less than three years since the scooter’s market debut, highlighting the company’s steady growth in India’s electric two-wheeler segment.
Hoskote Manufacturing Facility Drives Production
The Indie is manufactured at River Mobility’s integrated production facility in Hoskote, Karnataka, where both the electric scooter and its battery packs are assembled. Alongside expanding production capacity, the Bengaluru-based EV maker has also strengthened its retail presence, growing its network to over 75 stores across India.
According to the company, the Indie was designed to meet the needs of everyday commuters by combining practicality, utility, and performance. River stated that the latest production milestone reflects its continued focus on scaling manufacturing capabilities while expanding its retail and service footprint nationwide.
Price and Booking Details
The River Indie is priced at Rs 1,55,199 (ex-showroom). Customers can book a test ride or purchase the electric scooter through River Mobility’s retail outlets across India or via the company’s online sales platform.
