Rapido unveils ambitious plan for 500-city expansion at Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 to transform urban mobility

The expansion, set to roll out in phases starting in February, will cover key states including Karnataka, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, and Rajasthan, with plans to extend to other regions like Punjab, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh.

India’s urban transportation landscape is poised for a major transformation as Rapido, a leading urban mobility platform, announces its bold plan to expand into 500 cities at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. This expansion marks Rapido’s commitment to enhancing connectivity and driving economic growth by offering accessible and convenient transportation solutions.

Currently operating in over 120 cities and having completed more than 200 crore rides, Rapido will roll out its expansion in phases. The first phase, beginning in February, will cover Karnataka, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, and Rajasthan, with further plans to extend affordable mobility options to states such as Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and more. This strategic move aims to address the diverse transportation needs of a rapidly evolving Bharat. Since its inception, the platform has enabled Captains to earn a total of ₹15,111 crore and facilitates 3.6 million rides daily.
