Vayve Mobility, an emerging original equipment manufacturer (OEM), is set to introduce the Eva, a compact electric vehicle powered by solar energy, at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo in New Delhi, scheduled from January 17 to 22, 2025.
After attracting significant attention during its debut at Auto Expo 2023, the updated Eva aims to offer a practical and eco-friendly solution for urban commuting. Designed to tackle common urban challenges such as traffic congestion, limited parking, and rising fuel costs, Eva’s compact design is ideal for city driving.
The vehicle offers an impressive 250-kilometer range on a single charge, with an additional 3,000 kilometers annually through its solar charging capability. Its high-voltage powertrain ensures fast charging, adding 50 kilometers of range in just five minutes. Eva accelerates from 0 to 40 km/h in five seconds and can reach a top speed of 70 km/h. Enhanced driver visibility, along with smart connectivity features like smartphone integration, vehicle diagnostics, remote monitoring, and over-the-air updates, further enhance the driving experience.
Eva’s operational costs are significantly lower than those of traditional petrol vehicles. While petrol cars incur an average fuel cost of ₹5 per kilometer, Eva’s cost is approximately ₹0.5 per kilometer, thanks to its lightweight design and efficient engineering. This makes it an affordable option for urban households.

Designed with India’s urban commuting patterns in mind, where the average daily distance traveled is under 35 kilometers and car occupancy rates are typically low, Vayve Mobility aims to fill the gap in the small car segment with a vehicle that’s efficient and well-suited for everyday use.
