Matter names its new e-bike AERA; comes in 4 variants

Matter AERA comes in two battery capacities of 5kWh and 6kWh. The pre-register prices are considering the central government's support through subsidies and GST slab.

Matter, an innovation-led tech start-up, has named its new motorbike, “AERA,” representing the “winds of change.” Matter aims to disrupt through tech innovations and lead the electric vehicle (EV) transition towards a sustainable future, the company said.

Matter AERA variants are called AERA 4000, AERA 5000, AERA 5000+, 6000+ with the national uniform pre-register price for AERA 5000 at INR 1,43,999, and AERA 5000+ at INR 1,53,999. Matter AERA comes in two battery capacities of 5kWh and 6kWh. The pre-register prices are considering the central government’s support through subsidies and GST slab. The state government benefits can be availed of by the customers during the registration process. Further, AERA 6000+ will soon be launched with a 6-kWh battery pack, the company said in a media release.

AERA features contemporary sporty looks and cutting-edge technology. It is powered by state-of-the-art in-house built liquid-cooled battery pack and powertrain that incorporates manual gear shifting into an electric motorbike, and delivers good performance at an economical cost of ownership, the release said.
