ElectricPe appoints Pragya Goyal as Head of Growth and New Initiatives to lead national expansion

ElectricPe has appointed Pragya Goyal as Head of Growth and New Initiatives to lead its national expansion, with plans to establish 50 mobility centres across 24 cities by June 2025. Formerly the Co-Founder & CEO of Vegh Automobiles, Pragya brings significant experience in the EV sector, bolstering ElectricPe’s mission to enhance the accessibility of electric mobility.

ElectricPe, India’s leading EV super-app, has appointed Pragya Goyal as Head of Growth and New Initiatives, underlining its commitment to making electric mobility more accessible and seamless. In her new role, Pragya will lead the company’s expansion strategy, aiming to establish 50 new mobility centres across 24 cities to strengthen its nationwide footprint.

Pragya brings extensive experience in the electric vehicle (EV) sector. As Co-Founder & CEO of Vegh Automobiles, she built the company from the ground up, launching EV two-wheeler products across various consumer segments and expanding to over 100 dealerships nationwide. Prior to this, she played a key role in developing ‘Service Mandi,’ an innovative digital platform for commercial vehicle services at Ashok Leyland.

Commenting on the appointment, Avinash Sharma, Founder and CEO, ElectricPe, said: “We have successfully tested and scaled our full-stack EV model in Karnataka, achieving product-market fit. We are thrilled to have Pragya join us during this time of our rapid expansion across India, with 50 new mobility centres launching in the next four months.”

Pragya Goyal, Head of Growth and New Initiatives, ElectricPe, shared, “The EV ecosystem is poised for rapid growth in India, and I look forward to driving this transformation, along with new initiatives that will make electric mobility more accessible and sustainable for Indian consumers. By having more touchpoints across India via the mobility stores, we can continue to build trust among consumers and makes EV ownership simple.”

ElectricPe is addressing key challenges to EV adoption, such as lack of information and charging accessibility. In December 2023, it launched mobility centres, both online and in physical stores, allowing customers to explore and finance electric two-wheelers with guaranteed after-sales service.

The company is also expanding its charging network and, in partnership with Google, integrated real-time charging point availability into Google Maps. To ease battery ownership concerns, ElectricPe offers flexible subscription plans, ensuring reliable battery maintenance. Under Pragya Goyal’s leadership, the company aims to accelerate India’s transition to cost-effective, consumer-friendly electric mobility.
