
The JNV Group has announced the appointment of Sandeep Jad as Chief Executive Officer of its Automotive Business, effective immediately. Based in Mumbai, the appointment comes as the group accelerates its growth ambitions and expands into emerging automotive technologies.
Jad brings more than 27 years of experience in the automotive and mobility sectors, having held senior leadership positions across both multinational and Indian original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Throughout his career, he has built expertise in strategic sourcing, project management, operations, process excellence, and quality management.
The JNV Group’s automotive portfolio comprises several businesses, including Sujan ContiTech AVS, Polyrub CooperStandard FTS, WBTL India, JNV Gold, Polyrub Plastics, Mega KLC Polymer Technologies, CGS, and Intrenio. Collectively, the group operates 20 manufacturing facilities and three technical centres across India, serving global OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers in the passenger vehicle, commercial vehicle, two-wheeler, three-wheeler, and agricultural equipment segments.
Commenting on the appointment, Vijay J. Sujan, Director, JNV Group, said the company is entering a new phase of growth and diversification. He noted that the group is actively expanding its automotive portfolio and exploring new technology domains, including mechatronics.
“Our vision is to diversify into advanced automotive systems such as braking technologies integrated with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and suspension solutions, while building a strong position among the top automotive component manufacturers globally,” he said.
Speaking on his new role, Sandeep Jad highlighted the rapid technological transformation underway in the Indian automotive industry and the opportunities it presents for innovation and growth.
“The automotive sector is undergoing significant change driven by new technologies, evolving customer expectations, and the transition towards smarter mobility solutions. My immediate focus will be to build on the group’s existing strengths, enhance operational excellence, and deliver greater value to customers through innovation and an expanded product portfolio,” Jad said.
