ZF Commercial Vehicle Control Systems India Ltd has announced the appointment of Paramjit Singh Chadha as its new Managing Director.
With close to four decades of experience in the automotive industry, Paramjit is a veteran automobile engineer whose career began at Maruti Suzuki, one of India’s leading OEMs. Over the years, he has held key leadership positions at major players in the auto components space, including Kalyani Brakes, Bosch Chassis Systems, Continental Brakes, and Knorr-Bremse.
He has also led strategic initiatives in ESG, manufacturing excellence, and digitalization during his tenure with the ADM Group. Known for his deep expertise in safety-critical automotive systems—particularly braking solutions across vehicle categories—Paramjit brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to his new role at ZF.
Paramjit has held several leadership roles including being a Regional Head, SBU Head, Plant Head and ultimately the role of a Managing Director and President.
Paramjit’s impressive track record includes successfully leading three greenfield projects and achieving exponential growth objectives. He has also contributed to industry development through his involvement with ACMA Centre for Excellence and the Indian Value Engineering Society (INVEST).
Paramjit is known for his unique blend of patience and a results-driven approach, inspiring his teams to take ownership and strive for success.
