Goodyear sponsors computer lab to promote digital education for children

The recent inauguration ceremony of the new digitally equipped learning facilities was attended by more than 250 students, teachers and community members. Aligning with the Government of India's initiatives to promote digital education, such as DIKSHA, PM E-Vidhya, and E-Paathshala, the state-of-the-art digital learning facility provides students access to a comprehensive information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure, including a fully equipped computer lab, enabling them and their teachers to leverage the benefits of these programs.

In partnership with International Association of Human Values (IAHV) for the students of Zila Parishad Primary School, Gadiwat, Aurangabad, Goodyear has established a new computer lab under the Adopt a School project. The recent inauguration ceremony of the new digitally equipped learning facilities was attended by more than 250 students, teachers and community members.

The Inauguration Ceremony was attended by Ms. Dipali Thavare, Block Education Officer, Aurangabad District; and representatives from Goodyear including Ms. Varsha Jain, Head, Legal and Compliance and Mr. Ramesh Alva, Manufacturing Director, Aurangabad plant.

At the event, Ms. Dipali Thavare, Block Education Officer, Aurangabad District said “I am very happy to see the school performing well. Witnessing the performance of the students and enthusiasm of the community, we will work to ensure the school reaches new heights.
