Ultraviolette Automotive has dispatched the first batch of its Made-in-India F77 Mach 2 high-performance electric motorcycles to European Union (EU) markets, marking a major step in the company’s global expansion.
The flag-off ceremony, held at Ultraviolette’s manufacturing facility in Bengaluru, was led by HD Kumaraswamy, Union Minister of Heavy Industries, and MB Patil, Minister of Industries and Commerce, Government of Karnataka.
Expressing his admiration for Ultraviolette’s achievements, Union Minister HD Kumaraswamy stated, “The expansion of Ultraviolette into the European market represents a defining moment for India’s automotive industry, demonstrating our nation’s ability to compete on the global stage. This is a prime example of how Indian startups are driving innovation in critical sectors like electric mobility. This export initiative aligns perfectly with our government’s vision of making India a global EV manufacturing hub.”
MB Patil highlighted Karnataka’s role in fostering growth, saying “Bengaluru is at the forefront of India’s electric vehicle revolution, and Ultraviolette is the Tesla of India. Their success is a testament to our vibrant ecosystem for innovation and this export marks a new chapter in our state’s journey toward sustainable development and technological leadership.” Ultraviolette is setting its sights on becoming a prominent player in the global electric vehicle industry, creating a strong foundation for future success in international markets.
