Mahindra & Mahindra reported a 15% increase in tractor sales for January 2025. The company sold 27,557 tractors, up from 23,948 in January 2024.

Domestic sales rose 15% to 26,305 units, while exports grew 28% to 1,252 units.

Hemant Sikka, President – Farm Equipment Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., commented on the performance, stating, “In January 2025, we sold 26,305 tractors in the domestic market, reflecting a 15% growth compared to last year. Improved soil moisture from above-normal southwest monsoon rains and higher water storage in major reservoirs have supported an increase in Rabi sowing. Ongoing government support through rural schemes, agri subsidies, and expectations of higher budget allocations in the upcoming Union Budget are expected to further boost tractor demand. In the export market, we sold 1,252 tractors, marking a 28% growth from last year.”
