Ola Electric recorded 23,430 vehicle registrations in March 2025, according to the VAHAN portal, reflecting sustained demand across both urban and rural markets. The transition to in-house vehicle registrations, initiated in February, temporarily impacted operations. However, daily registration volumes and backlog clearance are steadily improving as the process stabilizes.
The company has nearly cleared the February backlog and aims to complete the remaining February–March registrations by April 2025. To support this, it is scaling up registration operations and actively coordinating with external stakeholders.
Additionally, the company began deliveries of its Gen 3 portfolio in March 2025, receiving an overwhelmingly positive response, with demand exceeding expectations. In response, production was ramped up in March and will continue to increase in April to ensure faster deliveries and an improved customer experience.
The company remains committed to seamless execution and enhancing the ownership experience, keeping stakeholders updated as registration volumes stabilize.
