Yokohama Corporation of North America (YCNA) has announced three immediate organizational changes. Jeff Barna, President and CEO of Yokohama Tire Corporation (YTC) has been promoted to also serve as President and CEO of YCNA. In this expanded role, Barna will take on additional responsibilities to oversee Yokohama Canada (YTV) and Yokohama Mexico (YTMX).

Shinichi Takimoto, who has led YCNA as Chairman & CEO for the past nine years, will return to Japan to take on new roles as Head of the Japan Tire Business Division and Head of OE Tires Sales & Marketing Division at The Yokohama Rubber Co. (YRC). Takimoto will continue to split his time between Hiratsuka and Tokyo (Shinagawa). “We deeply appreciate Mr. Takimoto’s immense contributions in helping YCNA reach record revenue and become the most profitable entity within the entire YRC global network,” said Barna.
Stan Chandgie, the current COO of YTC, will also assume the role of COO at YCNA, adding oversight of YTV and YTMX to his management portfolio.
