Schaeffler India reports 17.5% revenue growth in Q2 2026

Schaeffler India has reported strong financial results for Q2 and H1 2026, with revenue growing 17.5% year-on-year in the second quarter and 18.1% during the first half. Growth was driven by Automotive Technologies, Vehicle Lifetime Solutions and Intercompany Exports despite ongoing macroeconomic and geopolitical challenges.

Schaeffler India Limited, the Motion Technology Company, has announced its financial results for the second quarter and half year ended June 30, 2026, following approval by its Board of Directors. The company delivered robust revenue growth across its Automotive Technologies, Vehicle Lifetime Solutions, and Intercompany Exports businesses, while maintaining earnings quality despite a challenging macroeconomic environment.

Q2 2026 Performance (April–June 2026)

For the second quarter of 2026, Schaeffler India reported revenue from operations of INR 26,814 million, marking a 17.5% year-on-year (YoY) increase compared to the corresponding quarter of 2025 and a 7.0% sequential (QoQ) growth over the previous quarter.

Profit before tax (PBT), before exceptional items, stood at INR 4,525 million, up 13.7% YoY. The company’s PBT margin was 16.9%, compared with 17.4% in Q2 2025 and 17.0% in the preceding quarter.

Net profit for the quarter came in at INR 3,367 million, with a net profit margin of 12.6%.

H1 2026 Performance (January–June 2026)

For the first six months of 2026, Schaeffler India posted revenue from operations of INR 51,884 million, representing an 18.1% increase over the corresponding period last year.

PBT before exceptional items reached INR 8,782 million, reflecting 16.5% year-on-year growth. The PBT margin for the six-month period stood at 16.9%, compared to 17.2% during the same period in 2025.

Net profit for the first half of the year totaled INR 6,564 million, while the net profit margin remained healthy at 12.7%, marginally lower than 12.8% recorded in the corresponding period last year.

Commenting on the performance, Harsha Kadam, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Schaeffler India, said the company delivered a strong first-half performance with 18.1% revenue growth, supported by sustained double-digit growth in its Automotive Technologies, Vehicle Lifetime Solutions, and Intercompany Exports businesses.

He noted that despite a challenging market environment, the company achieved 7% quarter-on-quarter revenue growth during the second quarter. While geopolitical developments led to higher input costs and slightly impacted earnings quality, Schaeffler India continued to deliver consistent financial performance amid a volatile global macroeconomic landscape. Kadam added that the company remains focused on sustaining this growth momentum through the remainder of 2026.
