VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. (VECV), a joint venture between the Volvo Group and Eicher Motors, has inaugurated a dedicated manufacturing facility and commenced deliveries of the first batch of Eicher Pro X trucks to leading Indian logistics providers in Bhopal. This milestone follows the successful debut of the Eicher Pro X small truck at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.
Located within VECV’s Industry 4.0-compliant Bhopal plant, the state-of-the-art facility was inaugurated by Martin Lundstedt, President and CEO of the Volvo Group, along with Siddhartha Lal, Chairman of Eicher Motors Ltd and Board Member of VECV.
Trucks produced on the all-women final assembly line at this new facility were delivered to key players in India’s rapidly evolving logistics sector.
