Hyundai Motor Company continued its dominant run in endurance motorsport by securing its sixth consecutive TCR class victory at the 2026 ADAC RAVENOL 24H Nürburgring endurance race held from May 16–17.
Marking Hyundai N’s 11th straight appearance at the iconic Nürburgring 24-hour event, the company entered one ELANTRA N TCR in the TCR category and two ELANTRA N1 RP race cars in the SP4T class. The achievement further reinforced Hyundai N’s performance credentials while also serving as a critical validation platform for the ELANTRA N1 RP’s next-generation powertrain technology.
Both ELANTRA N1 RP vehicles, equipped with newly developed pre-production engines, successfully completed the demanding 24-hour endurance race, highlighting the durability and engineering capability of Hyundai’s future performance technologies.
The event also showcased the talent of Hyundai N’s global junior drivers from Korea and the United States, who demonstrated strong competitiveness on one of the world’s toughest racing circuits.
“Securing our sixth consecutive TCR class victory at the Nürburgring is an incredible milestone that reflects the relentless dedication of our teams and the proven excellence of Hyundai N technologies,” said Joon Park.
He added that successfully completing the race with the new ELANTRA N1 RP powertrain validates Hyundai’s future engineering direction, much like the 2.0T engine development that powers Hyundai N’s internal combustion engine models today.
The Nürburgring endurance race continues to serve as a crucial proving ground for Hyundai N’s high-performance vehicles and a valuable development platform for its emerging global motorsport talent.
