Kia Corporation has unveiled the EV4, featuring both sedan and hatchback models, ahead of the brand’s second Kia EV Day event in Tarragona, Spain.
Designed to enhance Kia’s EV lineup and appeal to a broad demographic, the EV4 combines modern aesthetics with advanced technology, catering to lifestyle-focused buyers eager for exploration.
“The Kia EV4 reflects our commitment to rethink mobility and push the limits of design. By offering both sedan and hatchback variants, we provide customers with a unique blend of modernity and practicality, meeting diverse lifestyles and needs,” said Karim Habib, Executive Vice President and Head of Kia Global Design.
The EV4 sedan presents a sleek, low-profile design with a long-tail silhouette, while the hatchback offers versatility and agility, excelling in any situation with its distinctive, clean build.
The Kia EV4’s design embodies the brand’s ‘Opposites United’ philosophy, blending sharp lines with bold details to create harmony through contrasts. This innovative silhouette sets the EV4 apart in the compact segment, showcasing Kia’s vision for the future of electric sedans. With a focus on freedom and exploration, the EV4’s design is both forward-thinking and versatile, making it ideal for both urban environments and long-distance adventures in its sedan and hatchback variants.
The Kia EV4 sedan features a bold front-end design with the brand’s innovative EV Tiger Face, vertically oriented headlamps, and Star Map lighting, highlighting its wide, sporty stance. Its sleek silhouette flows into a long-tail rear with a unique roof spoiler, while machined 19-inch wheels emphasize Kia’s ‘Opposites United’ philosophy. At the rear, a two-piece spoiler and vertical light units enhance the vehicle’s wide stance and pioneering character. The clean bumper design with technical accents further reflects Kia’s commitment to advanced, detail-oriented design.
The Kia EV4 hatchback features a contemporary, bold design with contrasting black vertical C-pillars and sharp lines. Robust fenders machined 19-inch wheels, and geometric patterns on the lower body highlight its dynamic energy and innovative character. At the rear, its sculpted lines, wide taillights, and sloping window create a clean, strong profile, while the bold upright C-pillar trim emphasizes its proportions and unique design identity.
The Kia EV4 GT-Line adds exclusive design elements, including wing-shaped front and rear bumpers for a sleeker, more dynamic look. Triangular-motif 19-inch wheels enhance its futuristic, sporty appeal.
