Kia Europe has unveiled the new XCeed, introducing a refreshed design, upgraded technology, advanced connectivity features and improved ride comfort as part of the latest evolution of its popular C-segment crossover.
Designed for customers with active lifestyles, the updated XCeed combines everyday practicality with a more refined exterior inspired by Kia’s ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy. The model also benefits from enhanced safety systems, improved convenience features and greater urban versatility, reinforcing its appeal in Europe’s highly competitive C-segment.
According to Sjoerd Knipping, Chief Operating Officer of Kia Europe, the XCeed continues to play a strategic role in the company’s European portfolio by offering customers a distinctive crossover that balances style, versatility and everyday usability.
The new XCeed will continue to be offered with petrol and mild-hybrid powertrains, catering to customers seeking an alternative to fully electrified vehicles while maintaining strong performance and efficiency. The model also supports production at Kia’s Žilina manufacturing facility, helping strengthen the brand’s position in Europe’s largest passenger vehicle segment.
Progressive design evolution
The updated Kia XCeed adopts a more modern look in line with Kia’s ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy, featuring a sleeker crossover silhouette and a more refined interior. Exterior updates include a redesigned bonnet, front and rear bumpers, grille, headlamps, tailgate, lighting signature, and new 16-inch and 18-inch alloy wheels, while a 15 mm shorter front overhang enhances its compact and agile appearance. Despite the design changes, the XCeed retains a practical 426-litre boot capacity and an elevated driving position.
The model is offered in nine exterior colours, including the new Morning Haze finish. Inside, Kia has refreshed the cabin with a redesigned dashboard, updated infotainment system, revised air vents, steering wheel, door handle trims, and new seat upholstery. Features such as the Multimode Touch Display and an ergonomically redesigned gear selector improve usability, while customers can choose from cloth, cloth-and-artificial leather, or full artificial leather upholstery in black or Misty Grey.
Advanced connectivity, safety and comfort
The updated Kia XCeed features enhanced connectivity with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch central touchscreen, offering easier access to vehicle functions. It supports Kia Connect for cloud-based services and real-time vehicle diagnostics, while the Kia App enables remote vehicle access and control. The introduction of Digital Key 2.0 and wireless smartphone charging further enhances convenience by allowing compatible smartphones to unlock and operate the vehicle.
The crossover also receives an expanded suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), including Highway Driving Assist (HDA), Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA), Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCCA), Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA 1.5), Parking Assist, Rear View Monitor, and an In-Cabin Camera that monitors driver alertness.
To improve ride quality, Kia has revised the rear suspension and enhanced noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) characteristics for a quieter and more comfortable cabin, particularly for rear passengers. The Drive Mode Select system has also been recalibrated to provide a more distinct difference between Normal and Sport modes, delivering a more engaging driving experience. According to Pablo Martinez Masip, Vice President, Product, Marketing & Customer Experience at Kia Europe, the updates focus on improving connectivity, safety and ride comfort to deliver a more refined ownership experience for European customers.
