The new Renault 4 E-Tech 100% electric was officially unveiled at the 2024 Paris Motor Show. Just as the original Renault 4 emerged in response to the challenges of its era, the new Renault 4 E-Tech represents a retro-futuristic reinvention that highlights Renault’s commitment to advancing the energy transition.
One of the most striking features is the front grille, inspired by the original Renault 4. This unique, industry-first design is crafted from a single 1.45-meter-long piece, featuring a continuous illuminated surround that elegantly frames the Renault logo at its center. At the rear, the iconic three-part lights of the original model have been revitalized with modern lines and a distinctive LED signature.
These elements are just a few of the many design nods to the classic Renault 4. Other references include the bonnet lines that extend to the bottom of the grille, the shape of the rear quarter window, the three sculpted lines on the doors reminiscent of the original’s plastic protectors, and the distinctive roof forms, now enhanced with roof bars.
