The only Porsche 911 Turbo 50 Years edition delivered in Morocco

Porsche Morocco has reaffirmed its dedication to its expanding 911 owner community by securing and delivering a highly coveted 50th Anniversary Edition, one of just 1,974 units produced worldwide

Porsche Center Casablanca has handed over an exceptionally rare model to a fortunate enthusiast—the only Porsche 911 Turbo 50 Years edition in Morocco.

Created to celebrate 50 years of the iconic 911 Turbo, this limited-edition model is restricted to just 1,974 units globally, marking the debut year of the original Type 930, which launched in 1974.

Blending heritage with modern design, the 911 Turbo 50 Years edition honors its legacy with exclusive styling elements both inside and out, paying tribute to the spirit of the original Turbo.

It features side vinyl graphics that pay tribute to the original 911 RSR Turbo show car from the 1973 Frankfurt Motor Show that was displayed as a forerunner to the production 911 Turbo and introduced ground-breaking turbo technology from the 917/10 and 917/30 race cars.

“The arrival of this one of a kind 911 Turbo 50 Years is a moment of pride for us. It celebrates five decades of performance and innovation and reflects the growing passion for Porsche in Morocco,” said Sebastien Poncet, the Brand Manager of Porsche Morocco.

The unmistakable McKenzie tartan interior trim has returned for the seat covers and door panels, while the Porsche Turbo-exclusive colour of Turbonite makes its first appearance on a 911 and is also used on inlays in the rear engine cover, fuel cap, in the Porsche crest and also as a contrasting colour in the Turbo 50 model logo.

The historic Porsche crest from 1964 is back on the front bonnet as well as on the centre caps of the Sport Classic wheels painted in Brilliant Silver and White (satin finish), while the Turbo 50 and Porsche logos on the rear are in Gold. The rear engine cover grille also features a badge with the turbocharger icon and the years 1974–2024.

Its Turbonite exterior colour flows through to the interior for the seat belts, controls, decorative stitching, trim strips with black leather inlays and the Porsche crest on the GT sports steering wheel.

“The original Porsche 911 Turbo of 1974 shifted the boundaries of what was possible for production sports cars, bringing benchmark turbo technology from the racetrack to the street and this 911 Turbo 50 Years anniversary model both pays tribute to that milestone achievement and reinterprets this heritage at the same time, which is why we are so excited to welcome this one-of-a-kind 911 into Morocco,” said Sebastien.

Under the skin, the Porsche 911 Turbo 50 Years is based on the 992 Series, 911 Turbo S featuring a 3.7-litre boxer engine with variable turbine geometry (VTG) twin turbocharging delivering 478 kW (650 PS) and 800 Nm of torque mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission (PDK).

With a kerb weight of 1,640 kilograms, it needs just 2.7 seconds to reach 100 km/h from zero and another 6.2 seconds to reach 200 km/h.

Power goes to all four wheels using the active all-wheel-drive Porsche Traction Management (PTM) with Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus), including the electronically controlled rear differential lock with fully variable torque distribution.
