Ultraviolette launches the F77 MACH 2 and new innovations at EICMA 2024

Alongside the F77 MACH 2, Ultraviolette also introduced two other innovations: the F99 Racing Platform and the Concept X motorcycle.

Ultraviolette has launched the F77 MACH 2 at the 110th edition of EICMA in Milan, marking a major step in the company’s European expansion. Priced at €9,990, the F77 MACH 2 is road-approved for all motorcycle license holders, including those with A1 and A2 licenses across Europe.

Alongside the F77 MACH 2, Ultraviolette also introduced two other innovations: the F99 Racing Platform and the Concept X motorcycle. The F77 MACH 2 boasts a powertrain delivering 40.2 hp and 100 Nm of torque, enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 60 kph in just 2.8 seconds. It is powered by a 10.3 kWh battery and features a smart console, over-the-air (OTA) updates, and a top speed of 155 kph. The bike’s aggressive riding stance and futuristic LED headlight add to its bold design.

Narayan Subramaniam, Co-founder and CEO of Ultraviolette, emphasized the company’s commitment to creating a global range of electric vehicles. He highlighted that the F77 MACH 2, along with the F99 Racing Platform and Concept X, exemplify Ultraviolette’s vision of blending performance and cutting-edge design in the future of electric mobility.

The F99 Racing Platform is an advanced electric motorcycle designed for racing. It features a 90 kW motor that allows it to accelerate from a standstill to 100 kph in 3 seconds, with a top speed of 265 kph. The motorcycle has active aerodynamics and cooling ducts to direct air towards the motor, contributing to its performance. The F99 has a kerb weight of 178 kg.

The Concept X motorcycle, a new development from Ultraviolette, provides a look at the company’s future direction for electric mobility, focusing on integrating advanced design and functionality.

Niraj Rajmohan, Co-founder and CTO of Ultraviolette, emphasized that the F77 MACH 2 launch is just one part of the company’s broader vision to create a diverse ecosystem of electric vehicles. He noted that Ultraviolette is committed to advancing electric mobility, with more innovations planned for the future.

Ultraviolette also presented developments from UV Future Labs, its innovation center dedicated to researching and developing advanced technologies for electric vehicles. The lab focuses on areas such as vehicle connectivity, AI-driven safety features, performance optimization, and sustainable energy solutions.

As part of its global expansion, Ultraviolette is extending its presence across Europe, with markets in Turkey, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland set to launch soon. The company plans to expand further into North America, Latin America, and Southeast Asia over the next two years, offering a range of electric vehicles to meet the needs of urban commuters and performance enthusiasts alike.
