VinFast signs MOU with Motech to expand service workshop network in the Philippines

VinFast and Motech Automotive Service Centers, through their franchisor and operator in the Philippines, have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to expand the service network for VinFast electric vehicles in the country. This agreement aims to address the growing demand for electric vehicles among Filipino consumers while reinforcing VinFast’s long-term commitment to advancing green transformation across the region.

Under the MOU, VinFast and Motech will actively work together toward the goal of accrediting 63 Motech service workshops as authorized VinFast service centers. These service centers will be authorized to perform repairs, warranties, and maintenance for VinFast electric vehicles in the Philippines.

As part of its commitment to enhancing the customer experience, VinFast aims to establish over 100 similar service workshops across the country this year. The agreement with Motech marks a significant step in the Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer’s strategy to expand its partner network in the Philippines.

Motech’s service workshops will adhere to VinFast’s standards for facilities, equipment, and personnel, ensuring genuine services and parts for VinFast owners. To support the rapid expansion of authorized service centers, VinFast will provide personnel training and technical guidance, crucial for managing the growing number of VinFast electric vehicles in the Philippines.

Motech operates a nationwide network of auto service centers, spanning from Tuguegarao in the north to Metro Manila and Mindanao in the south. Additionally, VinFast and Motech will collaborate on business opportunities, information sharing, and joint marketing efforts to enhance electric vehicle after-sales services in Southeast Asia.
