Volkswagen Virtus achieves record-breaking sales in October 2025

Volkswagen Virtus sold 2,453 units in October 2025, marking 40 months in India with over 40% segment share. Together, the India 2.0 models—Taigun and Virtus—have surpassed 1,60,000 units sold domestically.

Volkswagen India announced that its flagship premium sedan, the Virtus, achieved its highest-ever monthly sales in October 2025, with 2,453 units sold. With a market share exceeding 40% in the premium sedan segment over the past two months, the Virtus continues to lead the category decisively.

The brand also celebrated a major milestone for its India 2.0 portfolio, as the Taigun and Virtus together crossed 1,60,000 units sold in the domestic market. This achievement underscores Volkswagen’s growing presence in India’s premium car space, driven by customers who value design, driving dynamics, performance, and safety.
